- Research and identify possible wedding accommodation for guests
- Try to ensure at least one accommodation in luxury, mid-range and budget categories
- Prepare a set of written directions for guests to get to ceremony and reception
- If you plan to use a wedding gift registry, sign up for that now
- Order your wedding invitations, matching stationery and table favours
Wedding Finances
- Ensure you have signed all necessary contacts with suppliers
- Ensure that all deposits have been paid to secure services
- Consider taking out a wedding insurance policy to protect your deposits
- Notify Bank, Building Society and other companies of your intent to change name
- Consider where you are going to live after the wedding and how this affects finances
Wedding Dress and Wedding Accessories
- Attend the initial fitting for your wedding dress
- Pick out the brides wedding shoes and accessories
- Finalise the wedding dress for bridesmaids and mothers
- Choose the wedding attire for the groom, best man, father and ushers/groomsmen
- Choose the brides and grooms wedding rings
- Visit your hairdresser to discuss what hairstyle you want on the day
- Take along a picture of your dress and accessories to assist the hairdresser
- Book a hairdresser and beautician for the wedding day, if required
